2. Make a contract with us
2.1 Upon placing an order with us, an offer to buy the goods is made by you. You will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your order.
2.2 You will receive a further email confirming acceptance of your order. At this point, a contract has been made between you and us.
2.3 If a pricing mistake has occurred or the goods are no longer available you will be advised of this. You will not receive an order acceptance email and no contract will exist between you and us.
2.4 Images of items on this website are for illustrative and informative purposes only. Pictured accessories will not be included in the prices unless stated in the specification of the items. Items may vary slightly from the images shown on the website. Items will be shown fully assembled, however, in the event of an item requiring assembly this will be undertaken by you.
2.5 Every effort has been made to display accurately the colours of the items that appear on this website, however, we cannot guarantee that this will accurately reflect the colour of the actual items.
2.6 All relative information provided is approximate and as accurate as possible and is provided in good faith.
2.7 This contract is covered by English law.

3.1 Items can be ordered via our website purchasing procedure.
3.2 You will be advised of delivery/carriage charges prior to completion of your order under our terms of delivery.
3.3 Full payment is required at the time of placing your order.
3.4 We use secure payment facilities for online purchases. You can pay for your order by PayPal or Bank transfer.
3.5 Prices quoted on our website are UK sterling. VAT is not applicable.
3.6 Any changes made to your order after completion may cause a delay and/or incur additional charges.
3.7 Your delivery date will be agreed with yourselves after your order has been confirmed.

4. Delivery & Carriage Charges
4.1 Items are carefully checked and sometimes photographed prior to being packaged to ensure that they are in perfect condition.
4.2 Items are normally delivered within 10-15 working days.
4.3 Delivery can be made anywhere in mainland UK.
4.4 Items will be delivered to the address specified on the order and will require someone to accept delivery. If the delivery company are instructed by you to leave the items unattended we will not accept responsibility for loss or damage. If attempted delivery fails the items will be returned to our premises. In this instance, we reserve the right to charge an additional re-delivery charge.
4.5 Larger items, eg, furniture may require the driver to be assisted on delivery.
4.6 All packing materials are to be disposed of by you.
4.7 Once the items have been dispatched, any changes to the delivery address that incur charges by our carrier will be passed on to you.
4.8 Items must be checked on delivery and any missing or damaged items should be reported to the driver and ourselves immediately. Items lost in transit must be reported to us immediately.
4.9 Delivery of items is on condition that access can be made safely. Any special delivery requirements or conditions must be notified at the time of ordering.
4.10 We will not be responsible for delayed/non-delivery of items due to circumstances beyond our control, eg, accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage or the default of our suppliers. In these instances we will endeavour to deliver the items as soon as possible after the incident.

5. Cancellation and returns
5.1 This policy does not apply to goods ordered by businesses which are exempt from the Consumer Contracts Regulations, or the following goods which are exempt from the right to cancel:
Any items that are bespoke, made to order, painted to order, personalised or modified to your specification.
5.2 Your contract may be cancelled up to 14 working days after the delivery day. Cancellations will only be accepted when made in writing. Your reason for cancellation is not a requirement, however, an explanation will be appreciated to enable us to improve our customer service.
5.3 Cancelled orders must be returned to us within 14 days at your own expense, in the original packaging and packaged adequately to prevent damage.
5.4 Any items that have been installed may not be returned unless faulty.
5.5 Failure to take reasonable care of the items resulting in damage or deterioration before they are returned to us will incur a charge to cover the reduction in value.
5.6 Refunds, including postage/carriage, less any costs due under this contract, will be made within 14 days of receipt of the returned items at our premises.
5.7 Customer who are exempt from the Customer Contracts Regulations will not be allowed to cancel an order unless mutually agreed.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights – eg, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

6. Faulty Goods/Guarantee
6.1 If a problem is identified with the items please advise us in writing with details and preferably a digital photo. This will enable us to inspect the items and will often negate the need to return the item for inspection. The issue will be addressed by us and will not affect your legal rights.
6.4 Vintage, antique and distressed items show signs of wear and tear and age. You must be aware of this before ordering. All items are described fully and photographed. Distressed items that are painted with chalk or milk paint will continue to age and distress over time due to the characteristics of the paint and you should accept this as a condition of the sale.

7. Liability
7.1 The items we sell on this website are understood to comply with all relevant UK legislation. We cannot and do not warrant or represent that they comply with any legal requirement outside the UK.
7.2 Consequential loss of profit or indirect loss are not our liability. If the item purchased requires installation, this should be arranged after delivery once acceptance of the item has been confirmed.

8. Trade or Business Customers
8.1 Orders may not be cancelled except with our mutual agreement and having been confirmed in writing by us. We reserve the right to make cancellation and/or re-stocking charges.
8.2 Claims for missing or damaged items must be made within 2 days of delivery.
